Fonds consists of mostly correspondence with Elizabeth “Bessie” Hall while she was in Reading, PA, USA, 1928-1930, and when living and working as a professional in the social services field in Montreal, Quebec 1944-1946. In the letters, Elizabeth comments on her work, war news and mail censorship, a train trip from Vancouver to Montreal in 1941, social activities with Morris and others while on holidays in Nova Scotia, and the growing closeness between herself and Morris. Also included is a small file of financial receipts 1928-1930, a photograph of a uniformed SGT Morris Silver on crutches taken at the Wharncliffe War Hospital in Sheffield, England, a hospital Christmas Dinner menu for 1917, his honourable discharge certificate and a panorama photograph of the military training Camp Aldershot, Kings County, Nova Scotia in 1916.
