Series forms part of Department of Education fonds and consists of annual directories of public school enrollments and teachers. Directories provide the year, county, municipality, school section number, name of school, number of classrooms, name of teacher, class of licence, years of service, subjects taught, grade taught, name and address of secretary to trustees, salary, total student enrolment, and post office serving the section. Directories are arranged by county, district, and school section number. Original directories for the years 1952-1954 are available, but directories for 1960-1972 are available only on microfilm. Directories for the years 1955-1959 are missing.
