Halifax BranchForms part of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia and consists of photographs of the exterior and interior of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia when it was located on the campus of Dalhousie University, Halifax. Photographs show the outside of the building and entrance, the library, the showroom (museum and art gallery), the Provincial Archivist's office, patrons, public research areas, and artefacts. Many of the photographs were undoubtedly commissioned by the Provincial Archivist, particularly those taken in the 1960s. Some of the photographs are undated.
