Fonds consists of 2 series: Case files and Official records of proceedings and other material. The Court dealt with prizes in time of war, as well as ordinary and normal marine causes in times of peace or war.

Consists of written briefs submitted to the Task Force from concerned citizens, chemistry experts, community groups, universities, municipalities, and businesses (September to December 1986). They are arranged by place of public hearing in chronological order: Dartmouth, Kentville, Liverpool, Sydney, Port Hawkesbury, Truro, New Glasgow, Amherst, Yarmouth, and Halifax. Also includes a list of all submissions, both written and oral (see RG 44 Volume 194 no. 1).

Collection consists of records relating to Ajax Club, 1940-1942, borrowed for microfilming from Edith Girouard, who assisted in the creation of the club. Includes a scrapbook, an annual report, a booklet about the history of the club, related documentation, and correspondence about the closure of the club.
Ajax Club (Halifax, N.S.)Collection consists of 31 photographs taken of Windsor, Nova Scotia by George Wright in the days following a fire that destroyed a portion of the town in the fall of 1897. The photographs were developed by Notman Studio and were included in an article titled "Photo Sets of the Windsor Fire" in the Halifax Morning Herald on 11 November 1897.

Consists of the secretary’s files containing Select Committee meeting minutes and a few Steering Committee minutes (Nov 1985-Feb 1987); newspaper clippings about tourism (July 1985-May 1987); draft interim and final reports (Apr 1986-Feb 1987); a few briefs submitted and informal research reports (1983-1986), and recommendations from the earlier Select Committee on Tourism chaired by Brian Young (1982-1984). Also includes notices of meetings and cancelations (June 1985-Jan 1987), meeting attendance lists (June 1985-Mar 1987), Select Committee mailing lists (1982-1986), and Members of the Legislature lists (1985-1986).
Nova Scotia. House of Assembly’s Select Committee on Tourism
Consists of written submissions to the Task Force (1983), the final report to the Minister (June 1983), and a press release from the Department of Social Services (October 1983).
Submissions were received from parents, childcare workers, daycare centres, nursery schools, children's centres, daycare associations, education associations, parents' groups, women's groups, childcare councils, and children's aid societies. Submissions were in the form of briefs, letters, proposals, recommendations, reports, and articles. They are organized by region.
Nova Scotia. Department of Social Services. Minister’s Task Force on Day Care
Consists of records created and accumulated by the secretary of the Central Board of Agriculture, particularly during the tenures of John Young, William Scott, and Titus Smith. Includes correspondence, returns, reports, accounts, notes payable, invoices, receipts, by-laws, orders, affidavits, and lists of officers. Volume 1 includes a minute book of the Provincial Agriculture Society from 1818 to 1825. Most of the records are relating to local agricultural societies. Arranged by agricultural society name.
Consists of records documenting high-level functions of the department. Includes executive records (minister and deputy minister), as well as government-wide and interdepartmental committee records. Files arranged according to a numeric subject classification scheme.
Nova Scotia. Department of Agriculture and Marketing
Consists of five series: Admission records, Case books, Medical Superintendent's correspondence, Commissioner's report books and Hospital photographs.
Nova Scotia Hospital
Consists of business and personal correspondence created and/or accumulated by Collins, mainly during his early career. Includes both incoming letters and drafts of his responses, as well as legal and financial documents. On the personal side, includes several letters exchanged with Judge Brenton Halliburton (his father-in-law) regarding the latter's financial difficulties, contemporary politics, the West India trade, and legislation, 1824-1832. Also includes several documents concerning the settlement of the estate of Enos's father, Hallet, who died in 1831, including estate inventories, accounts and bills due, and letters to heirs. The health (and subsequent death) of Enos's sister, Hannah Webster, is the subject of other letters between Collins and other relatives in the 1850s. On the business side, several documents concern the Court of Chancery case, "Enos Collins vs. John Tremain et al" regarding the ropewalk property in Halifax, 1816-1843; other documents concern Collins' finances and properties, 1829-1842, and include deeds, mortgages, bonds, releases of mortgages and promissory notes.

Consists of 4 Series: Postmaster General's correspondence (1825-1862); Financial records (1769-1868); Returns and other material (1846-1897); and Tenders (1851-1859).
Nova Scotia. Post OfficeConsists of moving images, sound recordings, and textual records relating to Charles H. Clark's work on his short, experimental film 8 Frames per Second, which he produced in association with the Atlantic Filmmaker's Cooperative. Includes the video master of 8 Frames and a 16mm print. Fonds also includes most of the 16mm printing elements used in the making of the film, including original trims, A&B optical reversal tracks for the film's dialogue, reversal film, internegatives, credit outtakes, and A&B reversals. Since 8 Frames per Second is based largely on Clark's dialogue with his neighbours, extensive sound recordings were made by Clark during the six years of the film's production. These recordings include his neighbours' conversations and extensive recordings of a variety of "wild sound" used to evoke the atmosphere of the neighbourhood in which Clark lived.
Charles H. ClarkFonds consists of records documenting executive and administrative functions of the Agency. Files include appointments, minutes, and agenda of the Secretariat and various youth-oriented committees; correspondence to and from the minister; published reports; Memoranda to Cabinet; legislation; terms of reference; and other administrative case files.
The Youth Secretariat is a committee of cabinet ministers established in 1989 to facilitate the planning and development of services and programs for youth. The objects of the secretariat are to heighten awareness of the needs and aspirations of youth; encourage persons and groups interested in providing voluntary services to youth; respond to the needs and concerns of youth by seeking information and advice on how to develop and implement better youth programs, reviewing existing programs and services and making recommendations as to how they may be improved; consult and collaborate with government departments, the Nova Scotia Youth Advisory Council and volunteer youth groups on the development of effective programs and services for youth; coordinate plans, policies and programs respecting youth presented by departments, in order to ensure effective service delivery; respond to requests for information about programs and services for youth; and maintain a high profile by publicizing programs and initiating dialogue between youth and government.
