Collection consists of 31 photographs taken of Windsor, Nova Scotia by George Wright in the days following a fire that destroyed a portion of the town in the fall of 1897. The photographs were developed by Notman Studio and were included in an article titled "Photo Sets of the Windsor Fire" in the Halifax Morning Herald on 11 November 1897.

Enos Collins

Consists of business and personal correspondence created and/or accumulated by Collins, mainly during his early career. Includes both incoming letters and drafts of his responses, as well as legal and financial documents. On the personal side, includes several letters exchanged with Judge Brenton Halliburton (his father-in-law) regarding the latter's financial difficulties, contemporary politics, the West India trade, and legislation, 1824-1832. Also includes several documents concerning the settlement of the estate of Enos's father, Hallet, who died in 1831, including estate inventories, accounts and bills due, and letters to heirs. The health (and subsequent death) of Enos's sister, Hannah Webster, is the subject of other letters between Collins and other relatives in the 1850s. On the business side, several documents concern the Court of Chancery case, "Enos Collins vs. John Tremain et al" regarding the ropewalk property in Halifax, 1816-1843; other documents concern Collins' finances and properties, 1829-1842, and include deeds, mortgages, bonds, releases of mortgages and promissory notes.

Charles H. Clark

Consists of moving images, sound recordings, and textual records relating to Charles H. Clark's work on his short, experimental film 8 Frames per Second, which he produced in association with the Atlantic Filmmaker's Cooperative. Includes the video master of 8 Frames and a 16mm print. Fonds also includes most of the 16mm printing elements used in the making of the film, including original trims, A&B optical reversal tracks for the film's dialogue, reversal film, internegatives, credit outtakes, and A&B reversals. Since 8 Frames per Second is based largely on Clark's dialogue with his neighbours, extensive sound recordings were made by Clark during the six years of the film's production. These recordings include his neighbours' conversations and extensive recordings of a variety of "wild sound" used to evoke the atmosphere of the neighbourhood in which Clark lived.

The Youth Secretariat is a committee of cabinet ministers established in 1989 to facilitate the planning and development of services and programs for youth. The objects of the secretariat are to heighten awareness of the needs and aspirations of youth; encourage persons and groups interested in providing voluntary services to youth; respond to the needs and concerns of youth by seeking information and advice on how to develop and implement better youth programs, reviewing existing programs and services and making recommendations as to how they may be improved; consult and collaborate with government departments, the Nova Scotia Youth Advisory Council and volunteer youth groups on the development of effective programs and services for youth; coordinate plans, policies and programs respecting youth presented by departments, in order to ensure effective service delivery; respond to requests for information about programs and services for youth; and maintain a high profile by publicizing programs and initiating dialogue between youth and government.
