Fonds consists of a daybook with church-related entries compiled by Rev. Blackwood, recording baptisms, deaths, and marriages, as well as daily events and business transactions. The contents of the fonds include information about sick people who were visited, and information about the Blackwood family, including the sailing of David and William Blackwood from Wallace, Nova Scotia to Hull, England. There are also documents relating to William MacPherson, who was the builder of the first railway passenger car in Canada.
