Consists of materials created or compiled by Nancy Forrest relating to the genealogies of the Duff, Fairbanks, Johnstone, Prescott, Thomas, and Forrest families in Nova Scotia. There is also information about her grandfather, Rev. John Forrest, who was the third President of Dalhousie University. The contents include family photographs, daguerrotypes and albums, originals and transcriptions of correspondence, scrapbooks, watercolours that are believed to have been created by Nancy Forrest's sister, some print items and two objects. There is also documentation relating to the CHNS radio station, a history of the School of the Deaf, as well as information about the Old Ladies' Home, Halifax, N.S.; Victoria General Hospital Nurses' Alumnae Association; I.O.D.E.; and the Registered Nurses' Association of Nova Scotia.
