MacKinnon, Fred R., 1912-2006British Guest Children: History and Working Papers, an unpublished documentary history of F.R. MacKinnon's involvement as Nova Scotia's director of child welfare in the activities of the Children's Overseas Reception Board (CORB), 1939-1942. The board was responsible for placing British child war evacuees in Canadian homes. Its work was a unique example of inter-Allied non-military cooperation during the Second World War.
