Consists of sermons, correspondence, and other records relating to Rev. James Boyle Uniacke. Most sermons contain the date(s) and church location(s), and others indicate the occasion, such as an individual's funeral. Correspondence includes letters received by Uniacke from family members, including his uncle William Black and siblings Florence and Norman Fitzgerald Uniacke; from fellow clergymen such as James J. Hill; and also from parishioners, friends, and acquaintances. Letters discuss personal and family news and parish matters. Also includes a small number of his outgoing letters, mainly written to the bishop of Nova Scotia, as well as several letters addressed to his wife Mary. Also contains personal accounts, legal documents, certificates, copies of articles and newspaper clippings, receipts and financial statements, relating to St. George's and St. Mark's Church and St. Mark's school house, Halifax; Mount Uniacke estate; the estate of James W.
