Fonds consists of correspondence, financial statements, notebooks, letters to the editor, news releases, and page proofs relating to the publication of Kimber's magazine, Cities. Fonds also contains reports, booklets, transcripts of proceedings and interviews, interview notes, notebooks, copies of articles and other research material pertaining to his unpublished commissioned history of Eastern Provincial Airways and his book Net Profits: The Story of National Sea. Also includes a recording of Kimber's interview with Eric Blackwood as part of his research for the Eastern Provincial Airways history, as well as photograph prints and other graphic material assembled for the publication of Cities, issues April 1987 to October 1989. Images primarily depict Halifax and include buildings, events, harbour, people (i.e. politics, business), and transportation.
