        History

        Nancy Prescott Duff Forrest was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 10 March 1910, the daughter of Dr. William Duff and Jobena Frances (Thomas) Forrest. She was also the granddaughter of the Rev. John Forrest, the third president of Dalhousie University. She was a teacher at the School for the Deaf and worked variously as a technologist, administrator, and a pathology lab medical assistant at the CNR Medical Clinic. She died in Halifax on 16 November 2006 and was buried in Camp Hill Cemetery.
